About

Trish Coffey grew up influenced by nine cultures on four continents. For twenty years she produced video for industry, sports, theatre, and politics; she showed a Burmese cat to Best in Show in the US and Canada and her porcelain sculpture has earned 1st place in juried shows.

Trish and her husband David will celebrate their 46th  anniversary in 2009. They are the proud parents of three children, including a junior high dropout, a high school dropout, three college graduates, a black belt in Kenpo, a professional figure skater and the winner of the John von Neumann Fellowship for 2003. 

A Doctor suggested they cease life support for their second infant son because his chance of living was miniscule and brain damage was certain. Trish and David instead chose to set up an ICU in their home. The baby lived, thrived, and earned a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics.
